Kalex Engineering, the German tuning workshop that created the most popular chassis for the Moto2 prototype, is now working on a chassis for the Honda RC213V. Kalex has already created an aluminum swingarm and a fully carbon one for the RC213V, which have shown better performance than Honda's own aluminum element. Kalex has also developed a new chassis for Marc Marquez's MotoGP prototype, which was tested in Valencia and will be further refined over the winter. The close collaboration between Kalex and Honda Racing has been evident for some time, and the new chassis is a major development in MotoGP technology.
